Girls Best Friend...

It's been a week and I have to apologize for not introducing you to my new best friends.
Their names are Maytag Washer and Dryer!

Since getting these my love for laundry has sky rocketed through the roof. I try and find anything and everything to wash. Now I find myself looking at dream laundry rooms.
Here are a few I wouldn't mind having.

Would you rather go on a picnic or to a bbq?

I would rather go on a picnic...they are so relaxing and can be totally romantic. 

Would you rather go bra-less or panty-less?

Bra-less by far. I just feel wrong going the other way. 

Would you rather go on a $5000 shopping spree at your favorite store or go on a $5000 vacation?

I would love to pick both but if I HAD to choose I would have to say the shopping spree. I would need new clothes before going on a vacation anyways. :)

Would you rather eat escargot or sauteed crickets?

Neither...but like the question before if I HAD to choose it would be crickets with lots of ketchup so I don't taste them. 

Would you rather go on survivor or the amazing race?

Definitely the Amazing Race!

Would you rather be hot or cold?

When it comes to weather I would rather be hot. But when it comes to what temperature to sleep in it would definitely have to be cold. I can't sleep when its hot.

Would you rather go to the beach or lake?

Well I'm from Nebraska and since there are no beaches anywhere even close, it would be fun to go to the beach. But there is nothing better then a fish pole and a lake. 

Would you rather not shave your legs for a month in the summer or your armpits?

Um...easy legs. I think its gross to not shave your armpits.

Outdoor Furniture Love

I downloaded the new Pottery Barn Outdoor Magazine on my iPad and fell in love with some of the furniture...made me start dreaming about a great outdoor space of my own someday...but until then I'll share with you some of the furniture that I love.

I just want to be here right now...the picture makes me want the furniture even more!

These are my favorite! They are giant futon mattresses, which would be so fun to have outside watching a movie or looking at the stars :) A girl can dream right?

Nope...but I think I would be able to.

Honestly...neither, but I would love to see a tornado in action. I have always wanted to be a storm chaser and I think it would be pretty cool to see one. 

Have you made summer vacation plans?

Not really...usually when I decide the summer is over.

I love this bag. I bought it in April and love it because it goes with everything...since I wear a lot of grey :)

Nope :(

Are you friends with your neighbors?

We a friends with an old couple that lives 2 doors down from us but everyone else we live by we hardly ever see.

Ad Design

A week ago today I was given a HUGE opportunity. I was asked by the Senior Pastor to put together an ad for Husker Illustrated...

Now for those of you not from Nebraska, this magazine is the Sports Illustrated of Nebraska. 

So anyway back to my story, so after given this amazing opportunity I bunkered down and put together the ad...which got shot down :(  But this was ok, because it made me think about this ad in a totally different way. I came up with 3 different ads for the Senior Pastor to choose from...I'm really proud of them and so I wanted to share them with you.

Driving home today I heard this song on the radio and it brought back so many memories. The song is "Just A Kiss" by Lady Antebellum. When I was listening to this song it made me think of when Paul and I first started dating and everything was so new and fun. Its fun to think of where we started and the road we have journeyed together. I can't have found a better guy and I'm so blessed that God put him in my life. 

I really appreciate this song. And I hope you do too.

I Love the Zoo

Yesterday Paul's mom, sister and I went to the zoo. It was a GORGEOUS day!!!!! I took some really fun pictures and thought I would share them with you. 

This baby monkey is only a month old. I was so hard to get a good picture of him because he kept moving everywhere. Is in it the cutest thing you have ever seen? He stirred quite the crowd.
