Weight Watchers Easy Tuna Casserole

Ingredients:
1 can tuna in water, drained
1 cup macaroni, uncooked
1 onion, chopped
1 can peas, drained (baby peas if possible)
1 can reduced fat Cream of Mushroom soup
1 cup skim milk
6 Tbsp. reduced fat cheddar cheese, grated

(I don't care for onions or peas so I did not include them in the recipe)

Directions:
In a casserole dish, mix together the tuna, macaroni, onion, peas, mushroom soup and milk. Ensure that the macaroni is covered by the sauce. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

It makes four servings. And for those of you on Weight Watchers its 3 points per serving.

  3. Food for thought: Onions actually help your body flush out fat! If you cook them up really small you won't even taste them. You could even grate them to get them to completely disappear! Just a thought!

    Looks delicious though! YUM!
