Our Love Story...

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
We have been together three and a half years. It will be four years in August.

2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?}
We met through some mutual friends but our love story actually began by talking through Facebook. We would message each other back and forth daily. He than asked me for my number, which led to hours of phone conversations and millions of text messages. I lived in a town an hour away from him and so the first 3 months were spent electronically talking.

3. If married, how long have you been married? If not, is this the guy you hope to marry? {do tell}
We got engaged on June 22, 2011 and will be married on May 18, 2012 so I would have to say yes he is the one :D

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?  If not, where would you like to get married? And will it be big or small?
Our wedding will be medium. The fiancĂ© comes from a big family. We are getting married in a little church that we both have fallen in love with. Our reception will be at the old train station downtown, which is perfect because I have wanted a vintage themed wedding.

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!
Other then "babe" or "hun" we really don't have nick-names for each other.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
1. That he is an amazing cook! 2. He is my rock and stands beside me! 3. He is the best daddy to our two fur babies!

7. Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal?
I have to give you a little background first. I am not one to get motivated to workout or stick with it. So we both came up with a plan to keep me motivated. I hated not having my promise ring and so when I didn't work out or stay motivated we agreed that he would take it away for a while. So with that the Sunday before he proposed he took it away (he proposed on a Wednesday). That Monday night his sister and I went into Omaha to do some shopping. Little did I know that he went and visited my parents that night and asked them if he could marry me. So now I'll jump to Wednesday. I got home from work and changed and went to work out (I wanted my ring back :D) When I came home the front door was locked, which I thought was weird because I didn't lock it when I left. I walked in and he was no where to be found. I went to the bedroom where the door was shut. I opened the door and there he was on one knee with a little blue wrapped box. Before he could even say anything I was shouting "SHUT UP!" Finally he asked me and I said yes and he was like did you read the note. I had missed the note coming in the door that he had wrote which of course made me cry. The proposal was perfect and I couldn't imagine anything different.

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberrieschampagne, and rose petals?
He is a flowers kind of guy.

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
I'm a sunset dinner on a beach kind of girl. Love the spontaneous romantic gestures he does!

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
Honestly we have never gone on a real vacation by ourselves so I'm really looking forward to our honeymoon. I can't wait to experience our first plane ride together and relaxing on the beach!

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.
We have this tradition that we go to dinner and then see a cheesy romantic comedy at the movie theater. It's nothing extravagant but its perfect for us!

12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?
Haha nope he usually surprises me!

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
Find activities that you love to do together! We have a lot of the same interests and love spending time together doing those activities.

14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you.
