1.  When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is, hop in the shower. It's the only thing that will wake me up in the morning. 

2.   I can hardly wait for our honeymoon. I can't wait till I'm laying on the beach relaxing with the husband and putting the wedding stress behind me.

3.  The quickest way to my heart is chocolate  because its only my all time favorite thing to eat!

4. A little known fact about me is that I sang the National Anthem in front of 10,000 people at a minor league baseball game. When I was in high school I loved singing the National Anthem, and snatched every opportunity I got to sing it.

5. The best part about my job is I get to interact with people everyday. I'm such a people person.  

6. Something I just couldn't live without is my iPhone. It has my entire life on it and I would be loss if I was to ever loose it.  

7.  Something useful that I wish I knew how to do is sew. I'm going to agree with Lauren today, I find things on Pinterest all the time and just wish I could make them. Maybe someday I'll take a class or something and learn how to sew.  

Happiness in the Littlest Things

My life has consisted of a world wind of craziness and I haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and comment on blogs and reply to blog comments. Don't worry I am reading your blog posts :D

But yesterday as I was "day dreaming" at work I started thinking about the little things that bring me joy. 

Sometimes it doesn't have to be something huge to bring me lots of happiness.

A cozy evening with a good book

The smell of spring

Coming home to a clean apartment

Finding a dollar in my pocket that I forgot about

The aroma that comes from brewing a cup of coffee in my Keurig

Monday morning my straightener exploded, which I think is the total case of the Monday's.

But thanks to the awesome savings at TJ Maxx I was able to score this awesome straightener.

Khloe got herself in a bag mess, aka she was stuck in the bag and couldn't get out. 

My really awesome doodles while I'm in training. Training is so boring. 

Extremely bored while rocking the old school headphones. 

Perfect combination: Starbucks + Target = true happiness!

Started a new read this weekend! Wish I had more time to read it. 

Bella is always right next to me. She never leaves my side.

My sister Erica and I took Khloe out on a leash Saturday.

Saturday night racing has begun! Just give me a dirt track and some Sprint Cars and I'm happy!

Tony Stewart came to town to race! 

It was awesome being in the pits and only a few yards away from him. 

The fiancé scored his autograph!

The Nail Files #8

I am in LOVE with the entire collection of L'OREAL nail polish. 

The color lasts so long and it doesn't chip like other polishes I have. An extra bonus is that it is easy on the wallet too! I spend $4.99 for a bottle of this nail polish which is awesome because I can get two bottles for the price of some of the other brands. Don't get me wrong I love OPI and Essie just as much. But right now I'm on a wedding budget so great colors have to come at a discount.

...that I eat more then one of the FiberOne brownies a day.

....that I have been really superstitious when it comes to the wedding, we haven't used a single gift yet because it's bad luck!

...that I'm really looking forward to planning the ceremony on Sunday with Pastor

...that I have had to delete shows off my DVR because we have been so busy to watch them.

...that looking at houses last night got me really excited about owning our own house.

...that I can't wait until I can get back to normal life.

...that I already have a stack of wedding gifts to return because I have gotten duplicates

...that I've been putting off the programs for the wedding because I haven't been inspired.

...that I've been addicted to Rockstar energy drinks lately.

...that my Google Reader is overwhelming me because I have so many to read.

...that at first I hated my new job but now LOVE it! And I'm so excited to learn more.

...that I have to refrain from the nail polish section at Target, Walgreens and the tanning salon because I buy a new bottle of nail polish every time I look.

...that I'm glad my hair straightener blew up yesterday morning because I landed an even better one.

...that I have missed this link up horribly.

Today marks the

countdown till Paul and I tie the knot!

Can't believe how fast the 10 months of planning have gone. Luckily for me my wedding checklist is getting smaller. According to TheKnot.com I am right on track with everything I need to get done. In some ways I am kind of sad this will all be over, mostly because I will never get to do it again. But I'm so excited about starting a new chapter together with my best friend!

Help Wanted

Ok first off let me begin begin by saying I am a neat freak! Growing up as kids my sisters and I were never allowed to keep our rooms messy. Before we went to school our beds had to be made. I hated cleaning and vacuuming. I thought it was a waste of time and would rather hang out with friends then stay at home and help mom clean. 

But thanks to my mom I have inherited the impulsive cleaner. 

Now that I have an apartment of my own I can't stand it being messy.

But lately I have thought about getting a personal maid. With the wedding stuff everywhere, the gifts pilled in the corner of our apartment and the lack of being home our apartment is starting to look like this...

Please tell me this mess will not last forever! Hopefully someday Paul and I will be able to sort through all the wedding stuff and get life back to order. I wish I had a separate room just to store all the wedding stuff.
